ELL is a program to help children & adults who are learning English as a second language.
English Language Learners es un programa diseñado principalmente para ayudar a los estudiantes de primaria que están tratando de aprender inglés como segundo idioma o necesitan ayuda para mejorar sus habilidades de lectura en inglés. A menudo, cuando el español es el idioma principal que se habla en un hogar, los padres necesitan ayuda para ayudar a sus hijos a aprender inglés y cumplir con las tareas de lectura que se les han dado en la escuela. A cada estudiante se le asigna el mismo tutor cada semana para que puedan conocer las necesidades de cada niño y ser más efectivos para ayudarlos a aprender. Las sesiones de ELL se llevan a cabo en Regency Park Church of the Nazarene los miércoles por la noche a partir de las 6:00 pm.

English Language Learners is a program primarily designed to help elementary students who are trying to learn English as a second language or need help improving their English reading skills. We also have been helping Hispanic adults as well as refugees from Afghanistan as well as one adult from India.
Oftentimes, when another language is the primary language spoken in a home, parents need assistance in helping their children learn English and accomplish the reading assignments they've been given in school. While most of our learners speak Spanish, we are able to accommodate other languages as well. We've had students who were from Afghanistan, Vietnam, and India, for example. We help not only school-age children but also adults. Each student is assigned the same tutor each week so they can get to know the needs of each child and be more effective in helping them learn. ELL sessions are conducted at Regency Park Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday nights starting at 6:00 pm.
