We go because that’s what Jesus calls us to do and that’s where the “fullest possible life” is. The needy are worth it. Those in our neighborhoods and around the world are worth it. Our Savior Jesus says GOING to them and serving them is worth it. We know you can’t do EVERYTHING, but we can all do SOMETHING. So what is He calling you to do?

We believe that Christian "discipleship" is a journey of grace with Jesus as our guide and companion. Christian discipleship helps believers grow in the Lord Jesus Christ as they are equipped by His Holy Spirit, who resides within them, to overcome the pressures and trials of this present life and become more and more Christlike.
The name "Church of the Nazarene" was chosen to signify our commitment to Jesus, who - even though he was God - was born as a helpless baby to a poor couple from a small town in Israel called "Nazareth." Nazareth was not well regarded by most Israelites of the time - it was almost a byword. However, Jesus chose to associate with those in need, those who weren't respected, and those who were hurting to demonstrate God's love to them. Like Him, we aspire to show compassion, kindness, and care for those in need today.
